||60 Registrars to be Ambassadors of Change in the Southern Sector||

Second Phase of training on Gender-based violence and child marriage has ended in the Central Region with a call on Participants to help reduce the menace to zero. A total of 60 participants were trained in addition to the initial 60 participants who received in the Northern Region .
The trainees recieved diverse approaches to help curb the menace from Facilitators who are Gender Led practitioners and Academicians and this came off on Monday, 26th August, 2024.
Participants were drawn from Central Region, Western, Ashanti, Western North, Oti, Eastern, Volta, Greater Accra and the National House of Chiefs to make up the second batch.
Trainees are expected to be ambassadors of change on issues relating to Gender-Based Violence and Child Marriage at their various Traditional Councils and Regional Houses.
This project is led by the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs with support from the United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA).
