||Hon. Asamoah Boateng Emphasizes on Importance of Research||
The new Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs (MCRA), Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng has reiterated the need to capitalize on information gathering as a tool for success, stating that primary information enriches knowledge, provides ideas for solution, and contributes to success.
According to him, research is essential, and it has been one of the tools that has aided him to be innovative and achieve his goal, therefore in the same regard, for him to fulfil his mandate as Minister, he will rely a lot on the Research Unit to make MCRA better.
The made these comments at a Staff Durbar organized by MCRA on Thursday, March 30, 2023 to officially welcome him to the Ministry and for him to also interact with staff and share ideas on how to put the ministry on a higher scale to achieve it mandate.
He noted that he is goal oriented and for the Ministry to succeed, he will ensure the constant capacity building of staff so that the knowledge impacted in them will reflect in their work then together they can work efficiently and effectively to achieve the right goals.
He also called on Staff to give their best as the Ministry is the heart of the nation, and it needs to be understood and appreciated as such.
The Ag. Chief Director for the Ministry, Kananpe Wurche Fati Lily Soale, who welcomed the Minister on behalf of Staff of the Ministry said the Ministry was happy to have a leader on board who understands the Ministry’s rebranding agenda and ready to be the chief driver of the train for success.
She indicated that the Hon. Minister is a leader of change, an achiever and that is what the Ministry needs currently to get to its destination.
The Ag. Chief Director called on staff to put in their maximum support and continue to work in teams like before so the ministry can again achieve its mandate and beyond.
The Director for Human Resource Management, Mr. Evans Habadah and the Director for Finance and Administration at the Ministry, Dr Doliwura Zacharia pledged management’s support to the new Minister and urged staff to ensure that the knowledge they will gather when trained will reflect in their work for the development of Nation.
