RESOLVE CHIEFTAINCY DISPUTE TO BOOST DEVELOPMENT IN THE WESTERN REGION - CHIEFTAINCY MINISTER
The Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Ebenezer Kojo Kum has implored the Council of State to help resolve the protracted differences among members of the Western Regional House of Chiefs to foster development in the region.
He said peaceful coexistence among chiefs is a prerequisite to the socioeconomic development of all the 16 regions in the country. Therefore, chiefs as custodians of the people must endeavour to avoid to disputes among themselves to guarantee progressive socioeconomic development for the benefit of all in their respective regions.
