||SUBMIT ALL EVENTS TO THE MINISTRY OF CHIEFTAINCY AND RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS||
The Ministry of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs (MCRA) has directed all Regional Registrars to submit all events and occasions of various Traditional Councils to the Ministry.
This is to help the Ministry to fully participate in all occasions not only for the Chiefs but also Pastors and Imams.
These were said in a statement made by the Financial Controller of MCRA Dr. Doliwura Zakaria who led a delegation from the Ministry to the Coronation of Alhaji Abdul Salam Akate as Kuoru Balagubanie Sapara II.
Alhaji Abdul Salam Akate was coronated on the 18th of March, 2023 at a colourful ceremony in the Bawiebibai as Chief of the Community and invariably as the Paramount Chief of the area.
Dr. Zakaria said the Ministry should be contacted and invited to also participate in programs and activities of the various traditional community.
He again noted that the Ministry had tasked all Regional Registrars and Traditional Councils to make available all pending cases that are affecting development in the Traditional areas so that resources will be made available to deal with those thorny issues therefore the development will become a priority.
Two issues, he explained, has been communicated to the Paramount Chief for him to know that the Ministry is fully aware and will support any Traditional Council with a positive minded and respect of development with regards to the development association.
‘’ MCRA’s doors are always opened and more than happy to asolarate development’’. He concluded.
Bawiesibai is a farming community located in the Sissala East Municipality.
The accomplished businessman was given the skin name ‘’ Kuoro Balugubanie Sahara II’’.
In attendance of the event were the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Mustapha Yussif, Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency, Hon. Amish Chinnia Issahaka, Municipal Chief Executive of Sissala East, Hon. Yakubu Fusaini Batong, including former MP for Sissala West, Alhaji Amin Sulemana as well as Hon. Ridwan Abass Dawda and other distinguished personalities across the the length and breadth of the country.
