The newly appointed Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng expressed appreciation for the confidence rested in them and pledged that they would discharge their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.

The Minister stated this at the swearing-in ceremony of the four Ministers and a Deputy Minister by the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House, Accra

They were Hon. Kobina Tabir, Minister for Trade and Industry, Hon. Bryan Acheampong, Minster for Food and Agriculture, Hon. Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister for Chieftaincy and Religious affairs, Hon. Osei Bonsu Amoah, Minister of State at the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Dr. Muhammed Amin-Adam, Minister of state at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning and Dr. Stephen Amoah, Deputy Minister for Trade, and Industry.

The President congratulated them on their appointments and urged them to uphold the interest of the Ghanaian people.
